In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester United are planning to move in for Barcelona ace Fermin Lopez. It is understood that the Red Devils are ready to launch a €100m to bring the Spanish talent to Old Trafford this summer.
Lopez is having a productive campaign at the Catalan club as he has produced a run of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 22-year-old has scored 12 goals and earned 16 assists in 39 matches for Barcelona this season across all fronts.
The Spanish talent is currently among the most productive playmakers in La Liga. Hence, it is no surprise that Man United are showing interest in recruiting Lopez this summer.
His current contract at the Nou Camp will run out in the summer of 2031, which could make it difficult for the Red Devils to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Lopez excels at finding a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He can shoot the ball with power from long range. Lopez has got the eye to play a few decisive passes on the offensive end of the field and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Spanish sensation is primarily an attacking midfielder, but can also serve as a box-to-box midfielder or as a left-sided wide player if asked to do so by his manager. However, only time will tell whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to get a deal done over the line for him later this year.
Lopez would add more firepower to Man United boss Michael Carrick’s frontline. He is more than capable of nailing down a regular first-team spot at Old Trafford.
At 22, the best is yet to come from Lopez as long as he continues to improve with each season. With all things considered, he would be a dream option for the Red Devils to consider at the end of this campaign.
