In a recent report, Manchester Evening News revealed that Manchester United are set to sign Le Havre forward Enzo Kana-Biyik. It has been stated that the Red Devils are finalising a move to bring the French youngster to England on a free transfer this summer.

Kana-Biyik’s Impressive Rise In French Football

Kana-Biyik came through the youth ranks of Le Havre but is yet to make an appearance for their senior team. The 18-year-old has done well to establish himself as an important member of the French club’s Under-19 team. He has already shown glimpses of what he can do in French football.

The French talent has banged in nine goals and secured one assist in 18 matches for Le Havre’s U-19 side thus far across all fronts.

Kana-Biyik is currently amongst the best young strikers in French football. Thus, it is no surprise that Man United are trying to sign him on a free transfer this summer as they look to strengthen their squad for the long run.

Manchester United Are Set To Sign Enzo Kana-Biyik: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Kana-Biyik is an energetic runner with the ball and has got the eye to create the odd chance for his teammates to find the back of the net. He can shoot the ball well from long range but is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth at the highest level.

The French sensation is primarily a centre-forward but can also fill in as a wide player on either flank if asked to do so by his manager. However, he would need some time to adapt to the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if Man United end up recruiting him this off-season.

Kana-Biyik would no doubt enhance the quality of Man United‘s academy. He has got the ceiling to be a success story at the Mancunian club in the long run.
