Red Devils have been honoured twice after saving their season
The Red Devils had already beaten their rivals to the player of the season honour, which Bruno Fernandes won ahead of Gunners trio Gabriel, David Raya and Declan Rice after breaking the league record for most assists in a single season.
Michael Carrick was also shortlisted for the manager of the year, but he was beaten by title-winning Mikel Arteta.
Now, United goalkeeper Senne Lammens has been named by the Premier League as its signing of the season.
Lammens, 23, took over the gloves from Andre Onana in the summer, and has become a massive presence between the sticks at Old Trafford.
He kept eight clean sheets in 32 games, producing 79 saves across the season, after joining from Antwerp on Deadline Day for £18.1million.
Arsenal’s Viktor Gyokeres and Chelsea’s Joao Pedro were also on the eight-man shortlist, which included former Gunners captain Granit Xhaka, now at Sunderland, who captained the Black Cats to an unlikely seventh-placed finish and Europa League football next term.
The other nominees were Bournemouth’s Adrien Truffert, Manchester City’s Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo, and Leeds United’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Gyokeres has scored 14 goals in 36 Premier League games in his debut top-flight campaign, having moved to the Emirates Stadium in a £63.5m package deal from Sporting Lisbon.
