Manchester United boss excited to experience Leeds rivalry | OneFootball

Ruben Amorim has said he is excited to experience the rivalry when Manchester United face Leeds this weekend.

Manchester United make the trip to face Leeds in the Premier League on Sunday, as the two fierce rivals collide for the first time this season.

United head into the contest after a disappointing draw with bottom club Wolves, while Leeds are in confident mood after a six-game unbeaten run.

There’s expected to be a white-hot atmosphere at Elland Road and Amorim is excited by the challenge that awaits.

“I heard that it’s a big derby, great environment, big rivalry, but every game in the Premier League is so tough,” he said at his pre-match press conference.

“It’s one more game, I know it means a lot to the fans but we need to go there and try to win.

“I never experienced this one. Different environment, different culture, but the noise is going to be big. It’s hard to compare different cultures, different derbies, histories.

“When you play for Manchester United you need to be ready for everything. You guys have the best league in the world, every game you see there is a lot of draws, you never understand what is going to happen at the end of that week.”
