There are concerns that Manchester United centre-back Leny Yoro could be out for the remainder of the season, according to journalist Samuel Luckhurst.

The Frenchman played the full game when Man United hosted Leeds United at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Yoro has featured in 29 league games for the Red Devils this season but might have played his last game from the look of things.

The 20-year-old is out of the game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge tomorrow as he was not spotted as Man United boarded their train to London from Stockport today.

The Red Devils are already without suspended duo Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez while Matthijs de Ligt has not played since November 30 due to a back problem he sustained against Crystal Palace.

Ayden Heaven is the only senior centre-back currently available to Man United manager Michael Carrick.

Luke Shaw and Casemiro are options available to the Red Devils boss to play alongside the 19-year-old as he faces a huge selection headache ahead of a huge game.

Man United are winless in their last two league matches and are desperate to return to winning ways to boost their chances of playing in the Champions League next season.

They play next after tomorrow’s game against Brentford on April 27 and Maguire will be available for selection.

However, Martinez is expected to also miss the game due to his three-game ban and he will also sit out of their home match against Liverpool on May 3.

It will be the trip to Sunderland on May 9 before he can play again, and Heaven and Maguire are expected to keep playing until then.

Despite the unfortunate news concerning Yoro, it is not certain that he will not play again this season and Carrick will be hoping for some good news.
