Manchester United closely monitoring Upamecano

With his contract set to expire in June 2026 at Bayern Munich, Dayot Upamecano has caught the eye of Manchester United.

According to journalist Christian Falk (Bild), the Red Devils have added the 26-year-old French centre-back to their list of potential targets. This summer, Manchester United has primarily strengthened its attacking options with Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Sesko. The English club is now focusing its efforts on the defensive line.

Bayern Munich, for its part, is keen to extend Upamecano’s contract, but negotiations have yet to yield an agreement. The player has nevertheless hinted that a deal remains possible:
