Manchester United have enquired about Crysencio Summerville after his World Cup form, with Marcus Rashford’s future likely to shape any move. According to NY Times, midfield remains their priority.

Summerville scored in the Netherlands’ 2-2 draw with Japan and, despite West Ham’s relegation, interest has not cooled. He is expected to cost about £50m and remains contracted until June 2029.

Barcelona did not activate their €30m option after Rashford’s loan. There is a £40m clause, excluding Liverpool and Manchester City. He would rather see out his remaining 24 months at Old Trafford than join another English club.

United’s midfield plans continue. Ederson is set to join from Atalanta and talks for West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes are advancing, with personal terms not expected to be an issue.

Arsenal are exploring Club Brugge’s Christos Tzolis for around €40m. Leandro Trossard is closer to an exit, with interest from Türkiye, and Arsenal are open to offers for Gabriel Jesus.

Chelsea sold Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid for €60m and want a versatile left-sided replacement, with Strasbourg’s Valentin Barco fitting the brief. They also plan to add a centre-back and attacker.

Liverpool want wide attackers and have contacted RB Leipzig over Yan Diomande, valued at more than €130m. With Mohamed Salah gone, they expect to recruit at least two forwards.

Manchester City expect Josko Gvardiol to sign new terms to 2031. Barcelona are prioritising a centre-forward, with Julian Alvarez their target. Real Madrid have appointed Jose Mourinho until 2029 and signed Marc Cucurella.
