Manchester United have positioned themselves to sign Ivorian international Ibrahim Sangaré in the summer of 2026.

As Manchester United officials search for a replacement for Casemiro, who has announced his departure from the club at the end of the season, they have compiled a shortlist that includes Sandro Tonali, Eduardo Camavinga, and Ibrahim Sangaré.

Officials at Old Trafford are impressed by Sangaré's physical strength and his ability to bring balance and dictate the tempo in midfield, qualities he previously showcased with PSV Eindhoven. Sangaré, who has attracted significant attention, has gained valuable Premier League experience since joining Nottingham Forest in 2023. This season, across 29 appearances in all competitions, he has scored two goals and provided three assists.

The Ivorian is 28 years old and is under contract with Nottingham Forest until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €22 million.
