Manchester United are pursuing a move for Bournemouth star Alex Scott. 

The Cherries are demanding a huge £80 million fee to sell their prized asset this summer. 

However, United are not ruling out a transfer bid for the 22-year-old, per journalist Samuel Luckhurst. 

Scott has caught the attention of the Manchester giants after a breakout 2025-26 season.

He featured in 37 Premier League games and scored three goals. 

The young midfielder has entered the final two years of his contract at Bournemouth, but the club are looking to tie him down to a new deal. 

With Champions League football back on the agenda, Man Utd are scouring the market to add quality players to their squad. 

Midfield is the club’s priority following Casemiro’s departure. 

The Red Devils have already wrapped up a deal for Atalanta’s Ederson, and have Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni and Chelsea’s Andrey Santos on their radar. 

United missed out on Elliot Anderson and Mateus Fernandes due to their high valuations.
