Manchester United make clear Marcus Rashford transfer stance after his intriguing social media post | OneFootball

Manchester United have no plans to reintegrate Marcus Rashford into their first-team squad next season, per The Sun. 

Rashford is currently on loan at Barcelona, where he has impressed with his performances. 

Barca can trigger the forward’s £26 million buyout clause at the end of the season, but they are keen to renegotiate the fee or secure another loan move for him. 

However, United have no intention to lower their asking price. 

Rashford recently posted on social media to congratulate the English giants on sealing Champions League qualification. 

It is his first United-related social activity in nearly a year, suggesting he could be open to an Old Trafford return. 

However, the club’s stance remains that they want to sell Rashford, whose salary will significantly increase after their Champions League qualification. 

Rashford has revived his career at Barcelona after falling out with previous Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim. 

He has bagged seven goals and nine assists in 29 La Liga appearances this season. 

Rashford is reportedly keen to extend his stay at Barca, while manager Hansi Flick is also happy with his performances. 

The Spanish giants are unwilling to meet United’s demands. Their financial troubles are well-documented, and they need reinforcements in several areas.
