The match officials for Leeds United’s Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday have been announced, with Jarred Gillett set to take charge at Elland Road.
The Select Group official is in his fifth season in the Premier League. In that time, the 39-year-old has overseen 73 top-flight matches beginning with a 2021 meeting between Watford and Newcastle.
The Australian has worked a similar number of games in the Sky Bet Championship but spent much of his career in his homeland, where he was in the middle of almost 150 games in the A-League.
In their seven matches refereed by Gillett, the Whites have won three times and drawn on two occasions.
The official’s last appearance at Elland Road came for the second leg of the Championship Play-Off Semi-Finals two seasons ago, when Leeds beat Norwich City thanks to goals from Ilia Gruev, Joël Piroe, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville.
The opposition, meanwhile, have lost six times in their nine matches under Gillett. In their last match to involve him, the team lost 2-0 at home to West Ham in May.
Keeping up with the action from Stockley Park is Video Assistant Referee James Bell and Additional VAR Ian Hussin.
