The biggest Premier League fixture of the day took centre stage at Old Trafford

Man Utd beat Chelsea in a hugely important Premier League game for both sides. The Red Devils have made their worst start to a league campaign in over 30 years and the pressure was mounting on head coach Ruben Amorim ahead of kick-off after last weekend's 3-0 defeat in the Manchester derby.

First half goals from Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro secured just a second league win this season for the Red Devils as they preserved their record of not losing at home to Chelsea since 2013. Though, the result only tells half of the story with both teams finishing the game with ten-men.

Blues was first to see red at Old Trafford as he was giving his marching order for bringing down Bryan Mbeumo, while Casemiro was dismissed for two bookable offences. Trevoh Chalobah’s goal set up a grandstand finish, but Man United saw the the game out with relative ease to earn a priceless three points.
