Ruben Amorim makes big selection decisions for Premier League clash at Villa Park

Kobbie Mainoo is not in the Manchester United squad for their Premier League clash with against Aston Villa.

But United say Mainoo “picked up a small injury” in training on Saturday.

Benjamin Sesko starts up front and Amorim has stuck with his 3-4-3 system, having said this week he had been weighing up whether to switch to a back four.

Manuel Ugarte and Patrick Dorgu come into the side, with Amad Diallo, Noussair Mazraoui and Bryan Mbuema all away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Manchester United have been hit by injuries in defence and Matthijs de Ligt and Harry Maguire and both still missing for the trip to Villa Park.

Ayden Heaven and Luke Shaw continue at centre-back alongside Leny Yoro.

Diogo Dalot and Dorgu start as the wing-backs, with Ugarte in midfield alongside captain Bruno Fernandes.

Sesko leads the line and is flanked by Matheus Cunha and Mason Mount.
