Roma centreback Gianluca Mancini praised the team’s defensive display in today’s away win against Pisa.

The Italian defender spoke to DAZN after the match.

“As Hermoso said, this is the coach’s gameplan – to press the opponent – we’re adapting day by day.”

“When our midfielders press hard, our job is easier. Tonight we only had one through pass from Meister, but we executed our gameplan very well, and we’re happy with the result.”

“With Gasperini have to move the ball quickly. We have to be quick in serving our attackers and putting them in a position to attack the opposing defenders.”

“Cristante and I knew the coach, he was the one who made it possible for us to get here in the first place,” he added.
