Al-Nassr forward Sadio Mané has offered a 3-0 prediction for Senegal’s World Cup group match against Iraq, in a video shared on the club’s X account, according to Goal.com.
The clip features Al-Nassr’s Iraqi player Haider Abdulkarim congratulating his country on reaching the finals and wishing them a proud campaign. He then appears alongside Mané, who is asked for a score and responds with 3-0.
Iraq sealed a 2026 finals berth in the USA, Canada and Mexico by beating Bolivia 2-1 in the Intercontinental play-off final in the early hours of Wednesday. It is their second World Cup and first in 40 years, after 1986.
The Lions of Mesopotamia are in Group I with France, Norway and Senegal. Their meeting with the Lions of Teranga is the final group fixture.
Iraq aim to reach the second round for the first time, having gone out in the group in their only previous appearance. Senegal’s best run remains the 2002 quarter-finals.
