West Ham United are assessing a move for Manor Solomon, with Sky Sports and The Times reporting interest as they prepare for the Championship. The Hammers are exploring a deal, according to those reports, and it is not yet clear whether it would be permanent or a loan.

Solomon helped Leeds United win the Championship in 2024/25, playing a key role in their promotion back to the Premier League. The Israel international spent that season on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.

Leeds had been tentatively linked with re-signing him, but he instead took loan spells at Villarreal and Fiorentina.

“Next season? I don’t like to speculate. We have over a month left in the transfer window. What I will say is that the goal will be a permanent transfer, not a loan. Statistically speaking, the last week of the window is the busiest,” he told Israel's Sport 5.

“He [Solomon] wants to be dominant and make an impact, and that probably won’t happen at Tottenham. It doesn’t seem like the right place for him, and they’ve given up on him too easily along the way. The real goal is to find a place where he can play regularly. Manor is a very high-quality player, both mentally and professionally.”

Leeds have been busy this summer, adding Harry Wilson and Tarik Muharemovic, with Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford closing in on a £40 million move.
