Manu Vallejo is currently without a club after ending his short spell at AD Ceuta FC, and a 4 February trial with reigning Swedish champions Mjällby AIF did not lead to a deal.

According to Superdeporte, Ceuta confirmed his departure in January, praising his professionalism while noting his performances fell short. He featured in only four of the first 23 league matchdays and struggled for rhythm and impact.

Vallejo burst through at Cádiz CF, prompting Valencia CF to pay 5.5 million euros in 2019 under Pablo Longoria’s stewardship. He won the European Under-21 title and shared that squad with Carlos Soler and Sivera.

His time at Mestalla never fully took hold. Across two and a half seasons he scored five goals in 2020/21, including an opening-day brace against Levante UD that secured victory, yet he could not nail down a place.

Since his permanent exit from Valencia CF in 2023, he has searched for minutes with spells at Deportivo Alavés, Girona FC, Real Oviedo, Real Zaragoza and Racing de Ferrol.

Now 29, Vallejo faces a pivotal juncture. He is seeking a move that can restore confidence and continuity and show he can still contribute at professional level.
