Manuel Akanji seals Inter loan move | OneFootball

Manuel Akanji has left Manchester City on an initial loan move to join Italian side Internazionale.

The Swiss defender joins the club for a season-long loan that could be made permanent depending on a mandatory clause.

According to reports, Inter will pay an initial €2 million fee that could rise to a €15 million purchase should Akanji feature in at least half of the season's fixtures and if the club will win the league.

Akanji initially joined City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022 and has since featured 136 times for the club, scoring four times and being part of the team that won the treble in the 2022/23 campaign.
