Marco Silva will have his full Benfica squad together on Sunday as Andreas Schjelderup and Fredrik Aursnes return to Seixal after their holidays. According to Glorioso 1904, both are seen as important for the campaign, although Schjelderups future remains a live issue in the window.
The Norwegian winger has been linked with a move, with Benfica valuing him at around 40 million. The player is receptive to analysing offers.
Aursnes remains one of the most influential figures in the dressing room. Set to begin his fifth season at the club, the Norwegian midfielder retains Marco Silvas full confidence and should again take a prominent role.
Neither player can feature against St. Gallen in the home second leg of the Europa League second qualifying round. They were not registered in time for the competition, so are unavailable for the decisive tie.
Meanwhile, the hierarchy are preparing for the possibility that Schjelderup departs. Keeping the Norway international is the priority, but Marco Silva has asked for another left winger to be signed if the No. 21 leaves during the summer window.
