Marco Silva omits Jelani Trevisan as Schalke ‘to explore’ deal | OneFootball

Jelani Trevisan intends to leave Benfica in the current transfer window, with Schalke among the leading suitors. The Belgian forward is not in Marco Silva’s plans.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports that the German club, recently back in the Bundesliga, have contacted his representatives to gauge the terms of a potential deal. The report added that clubs in France and Italy are also monitoring him.

Despite strong showings for Benfica’s second team, Trevisan did not start pre-season with Marco Silva’s senior group. That absence underlines the possibility of a move in the coming weeks.

In 2025/26 he made 31 competitive appearances for Benfica, 27 in Liga Portugal Meu Super, two in Liga Revelação and two in the Premier League International Cup. He totalled 1,378 minutes, scoring eight goals and supplying two assists.

Trevisan is valued at 400,000 euros.
