Marcus Thuram likely to miss Sweden World Cup round of 32 | OneFootball

Marcus Thuram is unlikely to face Sweden in Tuesday’s World Cup round of 32 after suffering calf pain.

According to L'Équipe, the forward skipped Sunday’s group session at Bentley University, working on a bike instead. He had also sat out Saturday’s run-out with the substitutes.

He is not expected to feature in New York, though he could still be listed on the match sheet, as he was against Norway. Kick-off is at 23:00.

N'Golo Kanté has been managing knee pain and has missed the last two full team sessions. His condition is not considered a major concern.

The rest of the France squad completed a light workout before travelling to New York, where they were due to stay on Sunday night.
