Marie-Louise Eta attends Union Berlin training after historic appointment

Marie-Louise Eta has become the first woman to manage in the Bundesliga and across Europe’s big five leagues after taking charge at Union Berlin.

According to L'Équipe, the 34-year-old was with the squad at training this morning.

The German is a former midfielder and previously played for Werder Bremen.

Her stint runs until the end of the season.

Union are fighting to preserve their place in the German top flight.
