Mario Lemina signs two-year Galatasaray extension | OneFootball

Mario Lemina has signed a two-year extension with Galatasaray, keeping the midfielder in Türkiye.

According to L'Équipe, the Gabon international, 32, agreed terms with the Istanbul club on Tuesday lunchtime after his previous contract expired this summer.

The Lorient academy graduate, who also played for Nice and Marseille, returned to the Süper Lig in February 2025 after an initial stint in 2019-2020.

In Europe last season, Galatasaray beat Liverpool 1-0 in the league phase, then knocked out Juventus in the play-off, winning 5-2 before a 2-3 defeat after extra time.

Lemina scored the only goal of the Champions League last-16 first leg against Liverpool, a 1-0 victory, before a 0-4 loss in the return ended their run.
