Eintracht Frankfurt’s Board Member for Sport Markus Krösche has called Nathaniel Brown’s €50m move to Bayern Munich recognition for both the player and the club, and welcomed that the 23-year-old stays in the Bundesliga.
According to Get German Football News, Krösche spoke at Eintracht’s training camp in Grassau and said the club’s environment develops players to the level where such a move becomes possible.
He said he believes it is the most expensive transfer within the Bundesliga in history, stressing this as part of the wider progress made.
Krösche added that remaining in the league, even when joining a direct rival, is a positive for German football.
He contrasted this with recent years, noting that Woltemade, Wirtz, Ekitiké and Marmoush moved abroad.
