Marseille and Lyon wage bills to be controlled under DNCG rules | OneFootball

The Ligue de Football Professionnel said in a statement that the Commission de contrôle des clubs professionnels will place wage bill controls on Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais.

The step comes during the review of clubs for the 2026-27 season.

It is being applied under Article 11 of the DNCG regulations.

The controls are tied to each club's takeover budget, following a change of control at the club.

Three days earlier, the DNCG ruled to restrict AS Monaco's wage bill.
