Marseille ‘enquire about’ Dinamo Zagreb right-back Moris Valinčić | OneFootball

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Marseille have enquired about Dinamo Zagreb right-back Moris Valinčić, 23, asking the Croatian club for details of his situation.

Inter Milan and Napoli have also monitored the defender, although neither has made a formal approach this summer.

Born in 2002, Valinčić has been one of Dinamo’s standout performers and has already played a major part in their European campaign this season.

Dinamo advanced past FC Thun in Champions League qualifying, drawing the first leg then winning the return. Valinčić was decisive in the second game, supplying an assist before scoring the extra-time winner.

Marseille continue to weigh options to strengthen before the new campaign. Valinčić’s two-way contribution appeals, but the club are only at the enquiry stage.
