It could be a busy transfer window for Olympique de Marseille, who are looking to offload several players. There are four players who are completely out of the picture at the Vélodrome: Neal Maupay, Pol Lirola, Ulisses Garcia, and Ruben Blanco. OM tried to offload them in the summer, but could not find destinations for the players.
There are also two first-teamers who could head towards the exit, Angel Gomes and CJ Egan-Riley, both of whom arrived on free transfers in the summer. But both have struggled at the Vélodrome and OM are willing to listen to offers for the pair.
However, there is a more surprising name on the list, that of Darryl Bakola (18). As per a report from Sacha Tavolieri, Marseille would not be opposed to selling their academy product during the January transfer window. He has played eight matches for OM this season, making his one and only start in the Champions League tie against Newcastle United. It is unclear whether he is open to extending his current deal, which expires in 2027. Like Gomes and Egan-Riley, Bakola will not be retained if a suitable offer is received next month.
