According to L'Équipe, Marseille’s players and staff spent the afternoon at Zinédine Zidane’s padel club, a chance to decompress ahead of the Ligue 1 run-in.
Habib Beye’s side were knocked out of the Coupe de France two weeks ago in the quarter-finals by Toulouse after a 2-2 draw and a 4-3 defeat on penalties.
With that exit, their sole objective is to qualify for the next Champions League. They sit third in Ligue 1 after three straight wins, against Lyon 3-2, Toulouse 1-0 and Auxerre 1-0.
The next two fixtures carry weight, with Lille up first at 17:15, then Monaco at 20:45.
To strengthen cohesion for the final eight league matches, Beye leaned on a local legend. He and the squad visited the former France No 10 at his padel venue for a lighter afternoon.
