According to Molineux.news, Nottingham Forest and Wolves are close to an agreement in principle for Marshall Munetsi, which could lead to a reunion with Vitor Pereira. However, the midfielder is currently prioritising Paris FC and no discussions have taken place with the capital club.
Munetsi left Wolves on loan in January to join Paris FC after a run of ineffective displays in old gold.
Earlier this month he indicated he was ready to stay in Paris, noting that he liked the club’s project and that his family were happy in the city.
Forest’s interest is likely driven by Pereira, who frequently praised Munetsi at Wolves and handed him regular starts despite many supporters believing he was limited on the ball.
Where he ends up remains to be seen. Forest and Pereira could appeal, yet his stance may complicate any move. Wolves will hope to recoup as much of the £16 million fee as possible.
