Marti Cifuentes says no Leicester player has asked to leave ahead of January, though he did not rule out departures.

As reported by LeicesterMercury.co.uk, several players face uncertain futures. Harry Winks has missed recent squads and could leave, while Wout Faes has been unused and may need a move to revive his Belgium prospects before the World Cup. Julian Carranza has remained on the bench for eight games and, after Silko Thomas was preferred at QPR on Saturday, any loan break clause might be used, while Harry Souttar, back after a 12-month injury, may seek minutes to push for Australia selection.

Cifuentes called January a complex market and said decisions will be taken in the best interests of the team and the club. He added it is too early to know whether there will be major changes or none at all.

City have two places free in their 25-man squad, with one potentially going to free agent Michail Antonio if an agreement can be reached.

If they want two more signings on top of Antonio, a player would need to be moved on or cut from the squad. Cifuentes said additions will only arrive if they clearly improve the team, otherwise he is content to keep working with the current group and developing academy players, while noting plans can change quickly with injuries or unexpected events.
