Martin Ho has signed a new long-term Contract Extension with Tottenham Hotspur Women.
The coach has become an important part of Spurs’ setup in the WSL, working closely with head coach Robert Vilahamn as the club looks to build on recent progress in north London.
Speaking to the club’s website, Ho said: “I’m really proud to extend my time at Tottenham Hotspur. I want to thank the club for the trust and belief they’ve shown in me, that alignment is vital when you’re building something with real purpose.”
“From the moment I arrived, there was a clear vision around the direction of the club, and together we’ve started to lay strong foundations in terms of identity, standards, and the way we want to work every day,” he added.
Ho said the focus now is on consistency, discipline and continued development both on and off the pitch.
His comments fit with the themes he has spoken about before, including after Tottenham’s recent performances and coaching approach and in outlining his broader priorities in the Women’s FA Cup.
The 34-year-old joined Tottenham Hotspur Women after coaching spells with Everton, Manchester United and SK Brann, and his work alongside Robert Vilahamn has helped sharpen Spurs’ identity.
Tottenham have looked more competitive in the WSL under the current set-up, with Ho previously speaking about standards and environment as key parts of that growth.
This latest deal is another sign of continuity behind the scenes for Tottenham Hotspur Women.
It also follows a period in which Ho has spoken openly about the club’s ambitions, including in his comments on Tottenham playing big games at the main stadium.
According to Hayters, Ho said he is fully committed to helping build a side that can dominate through structure, intensity and control.
Further background on his appointment and career path has also been detailed by outlets including Tottenham Hotspur and Sky Sports.
