Mason Greenwood has agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce ahead of a possible summer move, but Marseille and the Türkiye club remain far apart on price.

According to L'Equipe, Fenerbahce's new hierarchy have assembled a lucrative package for the 24-year-old and are ready to bid about €30m plus add-ons, a figure that falls short of Marseille's valuation.

Marseille are refusing a cut-price sale and are holding firm despite looming financial scrutiny from domestic regulators. The report added that rivals expecting a bargain are mistaken, with too much at stake for the club both symbolically and financially.

Other suitors are constrained by internal squad management. Atletico Madrid and Al-Hilal must first shift high earners such as Julian Alvarez and Malcom. Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini would like to use Greenwood, but sales of Manu Kone and Evan Ndicka would be required.

The DNCG has deferred its latest decision, leaving Marseille braced for austerity. Unless Fenerbahce significantly raise their offer towards the asking price, negotiations could drift into a summer stalemate. Greenwood is now waiting on a breakthrough between the clubs.
