Bukayo Saka has said Arsenal are excited by the massive opportunity to do something special by winning the Champions League.
Arsenal faceParis Saint-Germain in the Champions League final tomorrow evening, as the Gunners look to be crowned European champions for the first time.
Mikel Arteta's side have ended a 22-year wait for Premier League title success this season, and now bid to complete a historic double. Only three English clubs have ever won the league title and Champions League in the same season.
After the mass celebrations that greeted Arsenal's title win, Saka said the squad know how much major trophies mean to the fans. He said Arsenal are relishing the chance to make more history.
"Personally, I know exactly what it means to them. I have been here on this journey loving this club, seeing the ups and seeing the downs. We felt it when we won the Premier League and how much it meant to the supporters," he said at apre-match press conference.
"We saw loads of videos and I think the parade is going to be the first time we see a mass gathering of all the Arsenal fans.
"We are all excited, but at the same time we are trying to stay focused on this game. It is a massive opportunity to do something special. It will probably make the parade more crazy."
Tomorrow's final is a first Champions League final for Arsenal in two decades, but Saka is confident his side can handle the pressure. Paris Saint-Germain, in contrast, are the current holders and into a third final in seven seasons.
"I don't think about it too much. That's my approach. I try to enjoy it, focus on the moment, and stay present. I leave the rest in God's hands," Saka said.
"Of course, we all know where my journey started as a seven or eight-year-old. Back then, trying to win the Premier League and Champions League with Arsenal felt a long way away.
"This last week has made it all feel real. Tomorrow, I'm very excited about the opportunity to win another trophy and create history for the club."
