Brentford Under-18s begin their Professional Development League season on Saturday as they welcome Peterborough United to Wheatsheaf Park (12pm kick-off).

Fresh from a successful pre-season tour of Portugal, the young Bees will eye a positive start to the 2025/26 campaign at home.

Gary McDermott will be in charge for the first time following his appointment in May.

The U18s will compete in the south group of the PDL, playing each side in their group twice and a further 10 ‘out of group’ games, totalling 28 fixtures.

Brentford cruised to a 3-1 away win against Posh when the sides last met back in March.
