As ever, there will be a stellar lineup of guests on Matchday Live for our coverage of City’s Barclays Women’s Super League clash with Arsenal.
The special broadcast will provide analysis and insight before, at half-time and after the 12:00 (UK) kick-off when Gareth Taylor’s side welcome the Gunners to the Joie Stadium on Sunday 2 February.
Joining presenter Natalie Pike to offer their opinion and dissect the events from the encounter are Toni Duggan and Paul Dickov with the programme starting around 11:00 (UK).
The pair made a combined 275 appearances for the Club and delivered a swathe on iconic moments in sky blue.
Clinical former striker Duggan fired City to four major honours – including the 2016 Barclays Women’s Super League title while also delivering on the highest stages.
Dickov also earned a reputation for performing when we needed it most and is perhaps most fondly remembered for scoring twice in the 1999 Second Division Play-Off final before we prevailed on penalties to earn promotion.
Our Matchday Live broadcast will be a part of the comprehensive coverage of City’s meeting with Arsenal on the official Man City App.
From kick-off, Alistair Mann and Karen Bardsley will provide live audio commentary, while those with push notifications turned on will also be alerted to all the key moments as they unfold.
Soon after the final whistle, a match report and reaction from both Gareth Taylor and players alike can be accessed.
Highlights from the encounter, plus a CITY+ full-match replay will also be made available from 12:00 (UK) on Monday 3 February.
