Matthis Abline leaves Nantes to join Monaco on deal to 2031 | OneFootball

Matthis Abline has completed his move from Nantes to Monaco, signing a contract until 2031 on Thursday.

According to L'Équipe, the transfer ends a lengthy pursuit, with initial contact dating back to the winter, and represents a club-record sale for Nantes at about 30 million euros.

The 23-year-old striker came through Rennes’ academy and joined Nantes in 2023, initially on loan before a permanent switch.

Across three seasons with the Canaris, he made 94 appearances, scoring 24 goals and providing 10 assists.

In 2025-26 he finished as Nantes’ top scorer in Ligue 1 with six goals, although the club were relegated to Ligue 2.
