Matthis Abline set for Monaco medical before €30m move | OneFootball

Matthis Abline has been cleared to travel to Monaco to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed move from Nantes.

According to L'ÉEquipe, the 23-year-old left La Jonelière on Tuesday and is expected to have his medical on Wednesday before signing a five-year contract.

The transfer is valued at around €30m, which would be the largest investment by a French club in this summer window to date, ahead of Patrick Zabi’s €25m switch from Reims (L2) to Paris FC.

Monaco are therefore close to finalising his arrival.

The club have been active since the market opened and Abline would represent a first significant addition to their attack.
