Lazio captain Mattia Zaccagni was ecstatic with his return to action as he managed to make an impact straight away and lead his team to victory over Cagliari.

The 29-year-old skipped the last two Serie A encounters against Genoa and Como due to severe gastroenteritis which warranted a hospital visit at one point. Nevertheless, the winger managed to overcome the issue and return to acting as a protagonist for the Aquile. The skipper then stepped up to the occasion, burying a powerful drive in the bottom corner, leaving Simone Scuffet with no chance. This proved to be the winner that separated the two sides on Monday.
