Max Allegri to Napoli: Agreement reached with official announcement expected next week | OneFootball

Napoli are set to announce the appointment of new head coach Massimiliano Allegri next week. 

According to an update by Ciro Venerato of RAI (via Calcio Napoli 24), Max Allegri will be officially named as the Napoli’s new head coach next week by president Aurelio De Laurentiis. 

Milan are right now finalizing the deal with the Partenopei over parting ways with their outgoing manager, since he still remains under contract with the Rossoneri. Napoli are ready to pay a fee of around €10 million to Milan due to termination costs and manager signing requirements. 

The deal was delayed recently due to Milan’s internal problems in their corporate structure, but all of that has been cleared up now to facilitate the transfer of Allegri to Napoli. The six-time Serie A-winning coach will sign a three-year deal with the Naples-based side next week, as the initial option of a two-year deal with the provision for a third year was transformed into this new one.
