It's all gone wrong for Real Madrid in the opening 20 minutes against visiting Valencia as the race for La Liga rages on.
Sitting three points behind rivals Barcelona and with a chance to pull level ahead of Barça's evening match against Real Betis, Los Blancos has suffered a double blow at the Bernabeu.
First, star man Kylian Mbappé was judged to have been taken down in the box by Los Ché defender César Tárrega, who escaped a sending-off after only receiving a yellow.
Mbappé, who is in the midst of a race for the Pichichi with Robert Lewandowski, sacrificed a chance to convert from 12 yards out when he allowed Vinícius Júnior the chance to make it count.
But the Brazilian could only see his effort saved by Giorgi Mamardashvili before Valencia took a shock lead just two minutes later through a header from centre-back Mouctar Diakhaby.
11' - Penalty Real Madrid. 13' - Vinicius Jr misses the penalty. 15' - Valencia take the lead. WOW!–
To pile on the misery, an own goal by Diakhaby in the 21st minute was ultimately pulled back after VAR's review judged Mbappé to have been offside in the buildup.
Ten minutes of pure bedlam in the Spanish capital.
