Messi's Inter Miami 'to open talks' for Bernardo Silva, with Benfica also keen | OneFootball

Inter Miami, Lionel Messi's club, have joined the race for Bernardo Silva, who has also been linked with Benfica, according to Glorioso 1904.

The American club is expected to begin talks soon with the Portugal international's representatives, and any offer could be in line with his current salary in England.

Silva is only a few months from the end of his Manchester City contract, and several European sides are monitoring his situation. Besides Benfica, Juventus are also attentive.

The Italian club are understood to have been told the playmaker wants between seven and eight million euros net per season, plus bonuses, to give the green light.

This season Silva is valued at €27 million and has made 39 appearances, 29 in the Premier League, seven in the Champions League, one in the FA Cup and two in the League Cup. Across 2,852 minutes he has scored two goals and supplied five assists.
