Police have released images of people they want to identify after a series of incidents during Arsenal’s victory parade in Islington on Sunday 31 May. Reports include assaults and anti-social behaviour.

Detective Chief Inspector Phil Coster said the day should have been a safe celebration for families, but a small number put others at risk. He said more than 500 officers, plus specialist search and drone teams, helped keep most supporters safe.

Officers made 29 arrests on the day, including several stabbings and assaults. 12 people have since been charged with offences including attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, assault on an emergency worker and sexual assault.

Detectives want to trace those pictured over four incidents in Islington.

They include a racially aggravated assault on Upper Street at about 14:30hrs, car damage on Caledonian Road at about 15:15hrs, and an assault on Highbury Crescent at about 16:30hrs.

Images D to I relate to a serious assault at The King’s Head on Upper Street at about 22:31hrs, when two men were injured. The incidents are not connected.
