Mexico conclude their 2026 World Cup group stage campaign with a clash against Czechia at the Estadio Azteca in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The co-hosts have won back-to-back games against South Africa and South Korea to confirm their place in the knockout rounds.
Two hard-fought wins have ensured Mexico a place in the Round of 32, and head coach Javier Aguirre could make wholesale changes to keep his side fresh for the knockouts.
Guillermo Ochoa is set to start for Mexico this evening. The 40-year-old, who is in his sixth World Cup squad, is expected to make his final World Cup appearance for El Tri on home soil.
Elsewhere, Cesar Montes is back and available after the defender served his one game suspension against South Korea, following a red card in the opener.
Raul Jimenez and Edson Alvarez are among the big names who could be rested.
Possible Mexico XI: Ochoa: Sanchez, Reyes, Vasquez, Gallardo; Gutierrez, Lira, Romo; Alvarado, Gimenez, Quinones
Thursday 25th June 2026, at 2am BST.
The match will be available on BBC One in the UK.
