Michael Olise voted Bundesliga player of the season | OneFootball

According to Le Progres, Michael Olise was voted Bundesliga player of the season on Saturday.

He received the award at the Allianz Arena during Bayern Munich’s 5-1 win over Cologne, on a day when the league trophy was also presented.

The French international, called up for the World Cup, recorded 15 league goals and 21 assists in 2025-26, and was applauded by the home crowd.

The accolade, introduced in 2019-2020, is decided by fans on 40 per cent, clubs on 30 per cent and experts on 30 per cent.

Olise won last season’s best signing award. He is not the first Frenchman to take this prize, with Christopher Nkunku recognised in 2021-2022 while at RB Leipzig after a campaign of 20 goals and 13 assists.
