Michel Der Zakarian says Mostafa Mohamed to stay with reserves until transfer window closes | OneFootball

Mostafa Mohamed will work with Nantes' reserves until the end of the transfer window, head coach Michel Der Zakarian said.

The pre-season friendly finished 1-1 on Wednesday against La Roche-sur-Yon (L3). According to L'Équipe, Der Zakarian addressed the Egyptian striker's situation afterwards.

Mohamed has returned to the training ground after missing close to a month of summer preparation, but he will not rejoin the first-team group.

The coach said the forward must train with the reserve side and added that the team cannot rely on someone who reports three or even four weeks after the restart.

He will continue his comeback with the National 2 squad while the market remains open.
