It is a commonly held belief that with the Manager of the Month award also comes a curse.
So, with Arsenal closing in on the title and, after deserving to win it multiple times this season but seeing it go to managers with worse records, Mikel Arteta has been handed the accolade for March.
It’s the eighth time he has won it but the first, if you can believe it, since February 2024.
That being said, only Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Pep Guardiola, Moyes and Jurgen Klopp have won it more.

Arteta won March’s award thanks to a 100% record which left his side top of the league by nine points with just seven games remaining. They beat Chelsea 2-1, Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 and Everton 2-0
The award, decided by a panel of experts and supporters, saw Arteta finish ahead of Eddie Howe, David Moyes (whom Arteta beat), Regis Le Bris and Fabian Hurzeler (whom Arteta also beat).
