As the Milan squad goes into a training retreat, the crisis is in full swing off the field too, with reports Max Allegri and director Igli Tare will both leave, potentially Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Giorgio Furlani too.
The Rossoneri slipped down to joint fourth place in Serie A after just seven points from the last eight rounds, so the team will arrive at the Milanello camp this evening to settle into a training retreat.
This is part punishment for poor form, part opportunity to reunite the squad and get them fully focused on the next match with Genoa.

Off the field, multiple reports are outlining total chaos, with suggestions coach Allegri will either walk away or be fired after a falling out with senior Redbird advisor Ibrahimovic.
It comes after a petition to have CEO Furlani sacked surpassed 50,000 signatures, but Furlani seems ready to push director of sport Tare out after just one year at the club.
Very few at this point believe that Tare will still be at Milan next season, so his exit is considered to be a given.

The favourite to take over the role is Tony D’Amico, after Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi confessed the figure was ready to move on after being ‘courted’ by bigger clubs.
However, Furlani and Ibrahimovic are not as comfortable as they were a few weeks ago either, in the wake of the recent results, and the angry protests from the ultras during their 3-2 defeat to Atalanta.
If D’Amico does arrive, then he could be given extra powers and eat into the status of Furlani and Ibrahimovic.

That remains to be seen, of course, because MilanNews wonder if it could go the other way, with Ibrahimovic increasing his role at the expense of Furlani due to the fan protests.
