The 29-year-old Slovak central defender joins Turkish club Fenerbahçe SK on loan until the end of the 2024-2025 season.

Milan Skriniar began his career in his home town of Ziar nad Hronom, where he trained with local club FK. His talent was quickly spotted, and he joined MSK Zilina in 2011 and made his first-team debut in 2012, winning the Slovakian league-and-cup double. In search of more playing time, he secured a loan move to Zlaté Moravce the following year.

In January 2016, the Slovakian international took his career to the next level with a move to Italy. Recruited by Sampdoria, Skriniar quickly established himself as a key player in the team. In his first season, he made 38 appearances and set a record: he became the youngest defender in Serie A history to make at least 35 appearances in a single season.

Crowned the league's best defender in 2017, Milan Skriniar joined Inter Milan the same year. Under his new colours, he became a real pillar of the defence and turned in a string of good performances. In five seasons with the Nerazzurri, he made 246 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists, and added an Italian championship (2021), two Italian Cups (2022, 2023) and two Italian Supercups (2021, 2022) to his list of honours.

In search of a new challenge, the Slovak central defender joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window of 2023. He made 37 appearances for Les Rouge & Bleu, scoring a goal against AC Milan in the Champions League. He added to his list of honours with a hat-trick of French league, Coupe de France and Trophée des Champions titles with the capital club in the 2023-2024 season.

Called up to the Slovakia national team for the first time in May 2016, just a few weeks before playing in the Euros, Milan Skriniar now has 77 caps and three goals for his country, and was promoted to captain in 2022.

Paris Saint-Germain wishes Milan every success for the rest of his season.
