Milan star Christian Pulisic hinted on social media that he deserved to be given a penalty kick in a 1-0 win over Bologna on Sunday.
USMNT captain Pulisic shared a funny social media post on Monday, suggesting that he deserved to be given a penalty kick in a Serie A match between Milan and Bologna on Sunday night.
Pulisic nutmegged Bologna defender Torbjørn Heggem inside the box before being brought down, but his opponent’s action didn’t have any consequence as referee Matteo Marcenaro didn’t award a penalty kick for the Rossoneri.
Pulisic questioned the referee’s decision with an Instagram story, where he shared a reel previously published by Milan, adding two words: ‘Ayee Refff’ and a laughing emoji.
Another incident infuriated Milan a few minutes later when the referee revoked a penalty kick for the Rossoneri after a VAR check.

Milan ultimately secured a 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Luka Modric, who found the net for the first time in a Serie A match.
