Milan have been offered a few new options to shore up their attack, but the solution could be a name who has been on their radar for a few years, Niklas Fullkrug. He’s itching to leave West Ham.
According to Mediaset, the Rossoneri are keeping tabs on Gabriel Jesus. He just returned from a serious injury and would like to play consistently to make the Brazil squad for the World Cup. He might struggle to find room at Arsenal.
Milan could make an attempt to get Gabriel Jesus on loan, paying just a fraction of his €16M salary, and then revisit the situation in the summer. His contract is up in 2027.
The Rossoneri are also eyeing Joshua Zirkzee, should Manchester United let him go temporarily, La Gazzetta dello Sport informed (via Tuttomercatoweb). Per Mattia Moretto (via Calciomercato), they have also been proposed Mauro Icardi, but he’s not high on their shortlist. His deal is up in 2026, and the extension talks aren’t going well. Galatasaray could opt to cash in on him a little in January.
Instead, director Igli Tare has been in constant communication with West Ham and the Fullkrug camp to devise the deal and prevent the player from reaching an agreement with other sides while they deliberate.
While he’s not great or a long-term fix and is oft-injured, the German forward has the traits they are looking for. More importantly, he figures to be their cheapest target, which is often all that takes in the transfer market. Plus, they might be able to add him regardless of whether they convince Santiago Gimenez to leave.
